More than anything, I'm genuinely interested in people and our human experiences. Our experiences are so diverse, I'll tailor therapy specifically to you in a way that will address your needs from an eclectic, holistic standpoint versus a "one size fits all" approach. My general approach to change draws from several mindfulness based modalities.
In my own journey, what's helped me the most in my personal growth and healing is curiosity. The more I lean in to my experiences, get curious and take the time to see what's there, (the pleasant and not-so-pleasant too...) I notice things automatically start to shift. This is exactly what we can do together on your journey towards healing.
Being mindful and taking time to slow down and observe what's present lowers the 'noise' of our busy minds. When you to tune into your body and your "inner landscape," it's a wealth of information. A clenched fist or a tight gut often informs us of underlying areas to explore. Mindfulness can give you the freedom in the present moment to bring acceptance to your story, heal wounds, and embody the courage to write a new narrative from this moment forward. It's also a tool to appreciate the parts of you that may have had to develop unhelpful patterns and beliefs for survival, then embracing the freedom to let them go.
Ultimately, I'm here to support you and your journey towards understanding in any way that feels nourishing and right for you. I provide a gentle and authentic partnership to help you reach your goals through an experiential, interactive dialogue.
